Product quality

The development, production and sale of medical devices, dietary supplements and cosmetics is carried out in accordance with ISO standards 13485: 2016, ISO 9001: 2015, 14001: 2016, 45001: 2018.

All our products are made at the manufacturing facilities that have received the ISO and GMP quality certificates.

PROVEN EFFICIENCY

We carefully monitor all stages of product birth:

  • We base our formulations on rigorous scientific evidence. The effective action of all active ingredients that we include in our preparations has been proven by reliable research. In addition, we make sure that useful substances are included in the drug in dosages that are required to solve a particular problem.
  • We select suppliers of all components for our products, giving preference to patented raw materials with proven properties. We pay special attention to the standardization of plant extracts in order to control the exact amount of nutrients. This is the only way to guarantee their beneficial effect.

HISTORY

The course for innovation was set by the company’s founder and first head – Mikhail Ivanovich Lazarev, an entrepreneur and an inventor.

The molecular encapsulation technology had become the company’s first unique design. Based on that technology, we created Vetoron – a bioavailable form of beta-carotene. It had quickly won favour with professionals and consumers.

At the same time, we were doing a lot of scientific work and were getting ready for a new breakthrough.
It came in the form of a revolutionary vitamin and mineral complex Alfavit which had, for the first time ever, implemented the recommendations of scientists on combined and separate intake of micronutrients.

The next step was studying the properties and features of essential oils, as a result of which a line of Dyshi products appeared for non-drug therapy and prevention of colds.

Drugs for competent support of reproductive health and proper planning of conception became a new niche for the Russian market. We focused on creation of effective and at the same time affordable drugs for increasing male and female fertility. This is how Speroton and Pregnoton appeared, quickly winning the trust of specialists and helping more than one couple to become happy parents.

2002

  • We launch the Alfavit vitamin and mineral complex (the patent on its composition is held by AKVION) and Qudesan – the first coenzyme Q10 product in Russia intended for cardiology.

2003

  • AKVION – the exclusive distributor of Olbas Oil in Russia.

2004

  • We launch the Alfavit Mama’s Health complex, start the Alfavit product line.

2005

  • The number of ALFAVIT users reaches 5 million people.

  • Alfavit Kindergarten and Alfavit Schoolchild – the leading brands in the Russian market for goods and services for children.

  • We launch Focus, an eye care product.

2006

  • We acquire our own manufacturing facility – the Vneshtorg Farma pharmaceutical plant.

  • Qudesan and Vetoron are registered as medicinal products.

  • AKVION is ranked 107th in the ranking of the 250 major advertisers in Russia.

2007

  • We put a record number of new products on the market.

2008

  • Qudesan and Vetoron are registered as medicinal products.

  • We transfer the exclusive rights to the Alfavit, Qudesan, Vetoron, Focus, Quten and Carniton brands to Recordati (Italy).

2009

  • We launch a unique set of products to prepare men and women for conception – Spematon and Pregnoton.

2010

  • Qudesan and Vetoron are registered as medicinal products.

  • New design for the Dyshi series.

2011

  • We register the enhanced compositions of the Spematon (its name is changed to Speroton) and Pregnoton products.

  • We implement the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.

2012

  • Dyshi Inhalation Patches is the first medical device produced by AKVION. The Dyshi product line now comprises 10 stock-keeping units (SKU)!

  • Dyshi Oil Spray marks the beginning of the Dyshi series.

  • The reproductive-system product line now features the Sinergin antioxidant complex.

2013

  • Clinical studies of Spematon.

  • We launch new brands: Vitime Sport, Dietelle, and KidZ.

2014

  • The reproductive-system product line now features the Sinergin antioxidant complex.

  • We add gels producing a warming effect for kids and adults to the Dyshi series.

2015

  • We launch new brands: Vitime Sport, Dietelle, and KidZ.

  • We launch new products: Pregnoton Mama и Dyshi Oil with a Wristband.

  • The reproductive-system product line now features the Sinergin antioxidant complex.

2016

  • The Vitime and Dietelle products are now offered for sale in sports nutrition stores.

  • We launch new brands: Vitime Sport, Dietelle, and KidZ.

  • 5 new clinical trials were conducted.

2017

  • A radical redesign of product sites with an emphasis on mobile versions was carried out.

  • The Vitime and Dietelle products are now offered for sale in sports nutrition stores.

2018

  • Products are now available on Ozon and Wildberries, the largest online retailers.

  • 7 clinical research studies were held. The overall number of our products clinical research studies has exceeded 50.

  • A radical redesign of product sites with an emphasis on mobile versions was carried out.

2019

  • 9 unique premium class Akvion products were developed and released.

  • Products are now available on Ozon and Wildberries, the largest online retailers.

  • 7 clinical research studies were held. The overall number of our products clinical research studies has exceeded 50.

2020

  • The company’s own online store has started working at akvion.shop. The products are delivered throughout Russia.

2021

2022

  • 11 new products under the Akvion brand are launched in the market.

  •   We have built and approved a long-term strategy for developing and promoting the reproductive health products. Our focus is the current needs of doctors (gynecologists and urologists).

  • We have kicked off the long-term development strategy with significantly more medical sales representatives and creation of a portfolio of medicinal products.

  • The Mense brand has received media coverage, including the first big advertising campaign on major federal television channels, to reach a much larger target audience and increase the demand for Mense.

2023

  • The Dyshi line has been complemented with products DysheLORz and Dyshesol, and 5 SKUs have been launched to the market under the company’s own brand. 

  • The company is actively developing the following R&D areas: medicinal products, medical devices, dietary supplements.  Contracts for the development and production of medicinal products have been concluded with partners from India and China. 

  • Mense has become the leader in volume sales among non-hormonal oral medicinal products for women during menopause. 

  • Speroton keeps lead in volume sales and monetary value among the medicinal products with L-carnitine for male fertility for the fifth year in a row. 

  • The company has participated in more than 200 events for specialists: doctors, pharmacists, and pharmaceutical industry professionals.
