R&D (RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT)

LABORATORY. FROM CONCEPT TO FORMULATION

The development of original formulas requires extensive research. Before incorporating any ingredient into a formulation, it is necessary to thoroughly study its properties: organoleptic and microbiological characteristics, the particle-size distribution of raw materials, its ability to react with other ingredients, its stability in storage, and many others. Then the sample products made in accordance with the new formulation are checked in terms of all physiochemical indicators, safety, taste, odour, and ease-of-use.

As of 2017, all such research activities are conducted by our own technological laboratory, the Development and Innovation Centre, which is part of our R&D Department.

The laboratory workers are professionals trained in various areas: candidates of pharmaceutical sciences, scientific advisers, substance and end-product quality control specialists, qualified process engineers for the food and pharmaceutical industries.

Our laboratory is successful at coming up with such process-design solutions that allow us to manufacture dosage forms that are highly bioavailable and easy to use. Among those solutions are new methods of producing powder concentrates, improvement of marketability of protein shakes, the use of micellization technology in liquid products.

The Development and Innovation Centre laboratory allows our company to expand considerably our product portfolio, to accelerate the process of making products. 

RAW MATERIALS. QUALITY COMES FIRST

The quality of raw ingredients largely determines the efficacy of finished products. Which is why we carefully select and examine the raw materials that will be included in our products. We only consider such raw materials that come from manufacturers that provide complete information on their products verified by certificates and by our company’s internal audits.
